Say goodbye to dull, tired skin with this easy, homemade sugar scrub face wash that exfoliates and cleanses in one simple step. Made with natural ingredients, it’s a gentle yet effective way to reveal a smoother, glowing complexion — right from your own kitchen!
I’ve been using this recipe for over 10 years now. Back in my teens, I struggled with severe acne and scarring. Prescription products and dermatologist treatments didn’t help much, and my confidence took a major hit. Desperate for a solution, I turned to natural remedies and found this scrub recipe somewhere online (wish I could remember where!). It completely changed my skin — and my confidence.

1 teaspoon raw honey
-
2 teaspoons of brewed, cooled green tea
🧴 How to Make It:
-
Brew a cup of green tea (about 1 minute in the microwave does the trick).
-
Let it cool completely.
-
In a small bowl, mix:
-
2 tsp green tea
-
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
-
1 tsp honey
-
5 tsp sugar (add more for a thicker consistency)
-
-
Stir well until combined.
-
Store in a small, airtight jar.
💡 How to Use:
-
Before applying to your whole face, patch test on a small area to make sure your skin doesn’t react.
-
Apply gently in circular motions, avoiding the eye area.
-
Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
-
Use 2–3 times per week for best results.
Each ingredient plays its part:
-
Green tea is packed with antioxidants.

Sugar gently exfoliates.

Honey is antibacterial and moisturizing.
-
Apple cider vinegar helps balance skin pH and fade scars.
It might not smell like a spa treatment, but trust me — the results are worth it and it will save you a fortune!
