Do Baggu Bags Live Up to the Hype? My Honest Review
Short answer: Yes. Absolutely. 100% yes.
I recently caved and bought my first Baggu bag — the medium crescent in black — and I have some thoughts. Spoiler alert: I’m in love.
So here's how it happened. I'm not usually one to scroll endlessly through TikTok, but one late night I found myself watching trending purse reviews (I’m a bit of a purse hoarder, not gonna lie). I came across a review of the Baggu medium crescent bag, and despite my usual rule of avoiding slouchy, unstructured purses (hello, black hole of lost keys, wallet, and phone), I was intrigued.
I had a little birthday money left over and thought, why not? The bag was $52 — definitely more than I typically spend, but I figured if I didn’t love it, I’d return it.
Let me tell you: I didn’t return it. I loved it.
Here’s what sold me:
-
It’s super comfortable to wear, especially over the shoulder or crossbody. No digging into the neck or awkward bulk.
-
It fits everything I need — a large wallet, water bottle, phone, snacks, and whatever else mom life throws at me that day.
-
It's machine washable. Game changer.
-
Some styles (including newer crescents) even come with a key leash, and let me tell you, that’s a lifesaver when you’re juggling groceries and an energetic 9-year-old. I drop my keys a lot — not anymore.
The Baggu brand has more than just crescents. They offer a whole range: reusable shopping bags, carry-ons, bowlers, and tons of fun prints and colors. There’s something for every style.
Final Thoughts:
If you're looking to treat yourself with a practical, stylish, and mom-friendly bag for around $50, Baggu is 100% worth it. And hey — if it's not your vibe, most retailers have easy return policies.

Will I be adding another Baggu to my collection soon? I already have!
